BTQ Technologies Secures Three-Year Quantum-Safe Deal With Kaia DLT Foundation
BTQ Technologies will deploy post-quantum security for LINE NEXT's Unifi Wallet under a commercial agreement with Kaia DLT Foundation.
BTQ Technologies has entered a three-year commercial agreement with Kaia DLT Foundation to bring post-quantum cryptographic protection to the Kaia blockchain network, marking the first recurring commercial deployment of BTQ's Quantum-Safe Security Network, known as QSSN.
Under the arrangement, LINE NEXT's Unifi Wallet becomes one of the first consumer-facing applications to receive chain-level post-quantum security. The deal signals a practical step toward hardening blockchain infrastructure against the anticipated threat posed by quantum computing, which cryptographers warn could eventually break conventional encryption standards underpinning today's digital assets.

The agreement represents a commercial milestone for BTQ Technologies, which has been working to translate post-quantum research into deployable products. Recurring revenue from the Kaia partnership provides the company with a foothold in the growing market for quantum-resistant blockchain solutions, as institutional and retail participants alike grow more attentive to long-term cryptographic risk.
Kaia DLT Foundation, which supports the Kaia distributed ledger ecosystem, is positioning the network as an early adopter of next-generation security standards. LINE NEXT's Unifi Wallet, serving as a primary beneficiary of the integration, stands to offer users a level of cryptographic resilience not yet common in consumer crypto applications.
The convergence of post-quantum cryptography and consumer blockchain wallets remains an emerging frontier, and this deployment may draw attention from other wallet providers and blockchain foundations evaluating similar upgrades. Continue reading at Cryptocurrency.
