Elutia has received an $8 million escrow payment tied to its BioEnvelope business sale, leaving the company fully funded through 2029.
Elutia announced it has collected the full $8 million held in escrow as part of its previously completed sale of the BioEnvelope business unit to Boston Scientific, the company disclosed Tuesday.
The receipt of the escrowed funds marks the final financial milestone tied to that transaction. With the payment now secured, Elutia said it considers itself fully funded into 2029, providing the company a multi-year operational runway without an immediate need for additional capital raises.

Escrow arrangements of this kind are common in corporate divestitures, where a portion of the purchase price is withheld pending the satisfaction of post-closing conditions such as regulatory sign-offs, indemnification holdbacks, or performance benchmarks.
